چکیده

To investigate the repair effect of distal-less homeobox 2 transfected bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells on knee cartilage injury. 20 male New Zealand large eared rabbits aged 6 to 7 mo were selected and fed for 1 w undergo injury modeling surgery. Reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction, western blot hematoxylin-eosin staining used detect these related indicators. Behavioral scores in each group was calculated. The Wakitani total score showed a very significant level improvement damage marrow groups (p<0.01). reaction results that after 4 8 intervention, messenger RNA levels significantly increased Western surgery, expression type I collagen, II collagen proteoglycan aggrecan proteins increased. injection simple could promote had best w, indicating gene regulate proliferation differentiation long period time.

Repair of articular cartilage defects in rabbits using CDMP1 gene-transfected autologous mesenchymal cells derived from bone marrow.

OBJECTIVE Cartilage-derived morphogenetic protein 1 (CDMP1), which is a member of the transforming growth factor-beta superfamily, is an essential molecule for the aggregation of mesenchymal cells and acceleration of chondrocyte differentiation. In this study, we investigated whether CDMP1-transfected autologous bone marrow-derived mesenchymal cells (BMMCs) enhance in vivo cartilage repair in a...

Cartilage Repair With Autologous Bone Marrow Mesenchymal Stem Cell Transplantation

Clinical trials of various procedures, including bone marrow stimulation, mosaicplasty, and autologous chondrocyte implantation, have been explored to treat articular cartilage defects. However, all of them have some demerits. We focused on autologous culture-expanded bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSC), which can proliferate without losing their capacity for differentiation. First, we tr...

Repair of articular cartilage defects with chondrocyte derived from allogenic bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) in rabbit

To compare the ability of the cartilage precursor cells derived from allogenic and autologous bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) respectively seeded onto “two-phase” allogeneic bone matrix gelatin (BMG) for constructing tissue engineered cartilage in the repair of articular cartilage defects and to observe the repairing efficacy of the two composites for providing the basis for the clini...

Parathyroid Hormone-Induced Bone Marrow Mesenchymal Stem Cell Chondrogenic Differentiation and its Repair of Articular Cartilage Injury in Rabbits

BACKGROUND We explored the effect of parathyroid hormone (PTH)-induced bone marrow stem cells (BMSCs) complexed with fibrin glue (FG) in the repair of articular cartilage injury in rabbits. MATERIAL AND METHODS Forty-eight rabbits randomized into four groups were subjected to articular surgery (cartilage loss). The PTH and non-PTH intervention groups included transplantation with PTH/BMSC/FG xe...

Repair of cartilage defect in the rabbit with cultured mesenchymal stem cells from bone marrow.

In 16 mature New Zealand white rabbits mesenchymal stem cells were aspirated from the bone marrow, cultured in monolayer and implanted on to a full-thickness osteochondral defect artificially made on the patellar groove of the same rabbit. A further 13 rabbits served as a control group. The rabbits were killed after 14 weeks. Healing of the defect was investigated histologically using haematoxy...
